Hello neighbors,
I am Silas Grant, Jr. and I serve as your Advisory Neighborhood Commisssioner (ANC 5C09). I am a lifetime resident of the Edgewood Community. As your ANC representative, my job is to be your advocate in your community.
I was initially elected as your ANC representative in November 2006. In my time as a commissioner, I have assumed the responsibility of considering a wide range of policies and programs affecting the community. This includes local traffic, parking, police protection, recreation, and street improvements. Also liquor licenses, zoning, economic development and trash collection are a major part of my focus. Finally I provide valuable input on the District’s annual budget.
This blog’s purpose is to keep you informed on the topics that impact you as citizens in the Edgewood Community. It is my hope that you will be informed and enlightened as you browse the blog.
